Burials

Please check below for forms and fee guidelines. If what you need is not available here, please use the contact form to get in touch.

We realise that losing a loved one is a hard enough time. Knowing what to do next can be confusing, especially when the process of laying someone to rest is not often discussed in our culture until point of need. We would like you to know that we have someone friendly to talk to here at the cemetery who is ready to guide you, with genuine care and respect for your situation.

There is no legal requirement to use a funeral director for a burial or cremation, but people often opt for that level of support if they feel uncomfortable or unable to take on the task of managing the arrangements themselves.

If you feel that you would like to manage the funeral of a loved one yourself, we advise you to contact The Natural Death Advocacy Network.

Should you require the services of a funeral director, please find a list of local services below.

Plot Selection

If your family does not already hold a Right of Interment on a plot when a burial is required, you will be offered a plot in the newly surveyed Independent section of the cemetery.  Families wishing to make their own choice elsewhere in the cemetery are advised to do so in advance of need to allow enough time for the Trust to assist in the selection. You can accept a Trust Selection plot in advance of need if you wish. Family-selected plots attract a higher fee because of the investigative and surveying work involved.  Trust selected plots will have a simple marker to help families to locate and identify which Trust selected plot they wish to purchase. Please visit the Cemetery Map page for more information on the location of Trust selected plots and the cemetery layout in general.
